Eligibility Criteria for Therapist Prime:

To maintain the high standards of the Therapist Prime feature, we have set the following eligibility criteria:

1. Educational and Professional Qualifications:

   • Advanced Degree: A minimum of a Master’s degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, Psychiatry, Social Work, Counselor Education, or Mental Health Nursing.
   • Licensure: Must hold a valid license and be in good standing with at least one recognized regulatory body within the accredited mental health network in your country of residence.

2. Experience:

   • Professional Experience: At least 3 years of practical experience in providing therapy or counseling services.
   • Client Feedback: Consistently positive feedback and high ratings from clients on the Mytherapist.ng platform.

3. Continuous Professional Development:

   • Ongoing Education: Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development through certifications, training, and workshops.
   • Ethical Practice: Adherence to ethical guidelines and professional standards, with no history of professional misconduct.

4. Performance Metrics:

   • Session Completion Rate: Maintain a session completion rate at least 95% of scheduled sessions or a cancellation rate of less than 5% .
   • Response Time: Maintain an average response time of less than 9 hours. [Starting from July 1st 2024, this will be reviewed to under 5 hours.] 
   • Client Retention: Maintain a client retention rate at least 90% , indicating strong therapeutic relationships and client satisfaction.
   • Client Satisfaction: Maintain an average rating of at least 4.6 out of 5 from client reviews.

     
     

5. Application Process:

   • Application Process: Simply send an email to operations@mytherapist.ng asking to be reviewed for the prime program. 
   • Review and Approval: Applications will be reviewed by the Mytherapist.ng team, and successful applicants will be notified and granted Therapist Prime status on a rolling basis.
6. Commission Structure:
   • Standard Commission: Therapists on the standard plan are charged a 10% commission per appointment.
   • Therapist Prime Commission: Therapists on the Therapist Prime plan are charged a 20% commission per appointment.
